What is it about lighthouses that fascinates people? Personally, I find a lot of potential landscape shots to be sort of boring, so a lighthouse introduces a dramatic element into the scene. Others may have other reasons.

With the recent trip to Maine and the Maritimes, I added a lot of lighthouse images to my inventory and decided it was time to have a filter to be able to find them.
