Due to knee surgery and procrastination, I had not checked my trail cameras in Custer Gallatin National Forest since September. That is a big mountain lion that popped up on the camera in late October.

I also have added images of coyotes, a bobcat, and a couple of moose to the autumn 2025 gallery. The coyotes seemed to be a family of three.

Because of the length of time between trailcam checks, the images actually covered three seasons. The best ones were from last October, but also see these galleries for additional images:

• Winter 2025-26, rabbit.
• Spring 2026, another bobcat image.

Due to some neighborhood vigilante moron who thinks it is illegal to have a trail camera in the national forest (it is NOT), I have pulled all of my good cameras out of the forest. This idiot stole a storage card out of one of my cameras, which I know he has done before to others. I left my two ancient Brownings out there just to maintain a presence, but I thought it would be prudent to remove my three Reconyx and two better Brownings from the proximity of this thief.
