I've got dozens of Northern Flicker images on the web site, but by my count only seven of them were taken with a hand-held camera. The others were snapped with a trail camera or a DSLR with a motion trigger.
This evening a fledgling flicker hung out on the back fence for a while, and an adult which I'm presuming to be his Dad fed him. The two did not seem skittish in my presence as I tried to circle around and get a better angle. There also were a few bluebirds flitting in and out, and these also have been added to the Summer 2025 gallery.
