All of my good trail cameras are out in the woods, so when I wanted to set up a camera to see if the bluebirds have arrived yet, I turned to the battle-scarred Browning #6. It captured this early-morning shot of a leaping deer.
I've gotten a few DSLR shots in the past five years of deer going over (and under) our fence, but nothing like this.

The deer also drain the little bird bath frequently, usually at night but sometimes during the day. The Guardepro closeup camera got this gaggle.

And finally, some not-deer. I saw these elk 16 miles west of town in a location I hadn't seen them before this spring. I've been using the fabulous new R5 so much that I haven't used the 6D at all. But I happened to have the 100-400 on it when I went by, and it did a fine job.
