V2 launch platform, White Sands Missle Range, New Mexico.  The rocket is a Hermes, which was an American development based on the German V2.

This is an Askania GTK 40 built in the late 30's to gather data on V2 launches.  The American military brought it to White Sands Missle Range in 1946 for the same purpose.  Missle Range Museum, New Mexico.

Lizard in Arizona.  It was tougher than I thought to shoot these little lizards against the rocks.  This is one that was close to being in focus.
