Washington DC and environs: An eagle cruises above the bank of the Potomac near Alexandria, Virginia. I was somewhat discouraged after a day of not seeing eagles at Mason's Neck NWR. Halfway back to Arlington I stopped at a park along the Potomac to see if I could get a decent sunset shot when this eagle swooped past.
